Abstract
Hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia is a rare genodermatosis characterized by the classic triad of hypohidrosis, hypotrichosis, and anodontia due to abnormal development of ectodermal origin structures. The inheritance pattern is mostly expressed
through
an X-linked recessive gene.
Compared with hidrotic type, this disorder shows typical facies with depressed central face and prominent forehead & chin.
We report a 9-year-old male case which shows the typical finding of HHED. especially total anodontia.
